Kashmir Tourism gets promoted in Ahmadabad

Ahmadabad, Sep 01 (Only Kashmir): Department of Tourism is participating in the 3-day Travel Trade Fair that commenced at Ahmadabad today, with an objective to showcase the tourism attractions of Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation of J&K tourism is being led by Director Tourism Jammu, Smita Sethi, Deputy Director Enforcement Kashmir and other officers and tourism players of the state.

Minister for Tourism, Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Rita Bahuguna who was the chief guest on the occasion was welcomed by Director Tourism, Jammu, Smita Sethi and was apprised about the prominent tourism attractions of the state.
Ms. Bahuguna took keen interest in the Sampoorna Manokamana Yatra and Navratra Festival of Katra.
Pertinently TTF is one of the largest travel trade shows in India providing an annual marketing platform and opportunity to network with the travel trade in all major cities.
Speaking of the occasion, Director Tourism informed that TTF is the apt platform to showcase the vast tourism potential of the state besides providing opportunities to the stake holders associated with the tourism industry.

She also said that the Tourism Department is making concerted efforts to provide best of facilities to the tourists in the state and various initiatives are underway to explore avenues of adventure and religious tourism.
The stall set up by the department eluted enthusiastic response from the participants and general public.
