Srinagar, Oct 13: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs & Information Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali has expressed pleasure over participation of two Kashmir based young journalists Rameez Makhdoomi & Bilal Bashir Bhat in Global Media Fellowship (GMF) in Turkey.
The Minister congratulated Rameez Makhdoomi, Executive Editor Kashmir Scenario, Bilal Bashir Bhat, Editor Only Kashmir (News portal) who were selected among the thousands of journalists of world for Sinan Foundation Turkey Fellowship in Global Media Training. There were total 31 countries who participated in the Fellowship and these two were selected representing India at global level.
The Minister said that such fellowships will turn helpful for the journalist community of the state and it is great to see young journalists of J&K participating in global programmes. He also congratulated both these journalists for getting International Media Achievement Certificate from the Foundation.
