Kashmir University bags 5 prizes in north-zone inter-university youth festival

Srinagar, Jan 22 (Only Kashmir): The Kashmir University students have bagged five prizes in the 33rd north-zone inter-university youth festival held in Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala.
Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir Prof Khurshid Iqbal Andrabion Monday felicitated the varsity students who bagged five prizes in the 33rd north-zone inter-university youth festival held in Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala.



Seven students from the University of Kashmir will now represent northern India at the all-India level national youth festival to be held in Ranchi next month, in literary, theatre and fine arts categories.
The festival was organised by the Association of Indian Universities and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India.
VC Prof Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi, Registrar Prof Khursheed A Butt, Dean Students Welfare Prof GN Khaki welcomed the winners after their return to the campus and felicitated them.
In his interaction with the winners, the Vice Chancellor wished them best luck for the upcoming Ranchi festival and reiterated that the University is committed to provide its full support for students’ extracurricular activities.
The KU team was led by the University’s Cultural Officer, Shahid Ali Khan.
