Srinagar, 12 March: J&K’s first news portal Kashmir Media Watch (KMW) today completed eight years of its inception. It was on this day in 2010 that Kashmir media Watch was launched with an aim to provide around-the-clock objective, to the point and unbiased reportage to readers. While the news portal focuses primarily on Jammu and Kashmir, it also caters to various events unfolding in the subcontinent and elsewhere in the world.

In addition to reportage, KMW offers interviews, editorials, opinion pieces, features, analysis etc.

“It contains everything unreported by local, Indian and international media,” said KMW founder and Editor-in-chief Ajaz Ahmad War. “KMW is a one-stop portal on Kashmir owing to its extensive coverage of events with details from ground zero.”

War thanked all the readers and his colleagues who contributed in building the news portal into a respectable name over the years.

“I’m thankful to esteemed readers for their recognition and support of quality content,” said War adding, “I’m extremely thankful to my former colleagues and those working with me now who put in their blood and sweat to make KMW what it is today.”
