New Delhi, May 04 (KNB): A protest was held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding CBI inquiry into Kathua child homicide rape and murder case.
The protestors organized by Bhim Singh led Panthers Party while raising anti-govt slogans took out a procession towards the Parliament but a strong contingent of Delhi Police raised huge barricades in the midway and restrained the protestors from advancing further near the Parliament House. The leaders and the activists also clashed with the police during the protest.

Expressing shock over the way the Crime Branch of J&K Police handled the infamous Rassana murder case, Panthers Party leader Harsh Dev Singh said that the new media reports had raised millions of eyebrows and instilled doubts among the people regarding the credibility of the Crime Branch in dealing with the case.
Accusing the Saffron Party of brazenly defying the collective sentiments of the people of Jammu region, Mr. Singh regretted that the saga of BJP’s betrayals and treachery further continued following the ‘rijig’ in the quota of its Ministerial births when the obnoxious remarks of Kavinder Gupta added fuel to the fire by calling the murder of 8 year old girl as a ‘small incident’.
“The BJP Ministers were ‘bunch of jokers’ enjoying the power ride with its diametrically opposite PDP. Its MLAs lacked political acumen, disregarded the people’s mandate and only bothered about Ministerial births for them. They have nothing to do with public aspirations and wishes”, Harsh rued. (KNB)
