Agriculture Director’s brazen lavishness, spends 4 lac for a party to please Higher-ups

Srinagar, May 12 (KNB): In a serious development of its Kind, the Director Agriculture Altaf Andrabi few days back organized a lavish party to welcome the new Agriculture Minister at a very prominent Hotel , which costed about more than Rs four lac.
Not only this, the Director Altaf Andrabi had before it organized another lavish party for the Commissioner Secretary Agriculture MD Khan at a prominent hotel costing about rs 1.5 lac.
A top source, while talking to the Kashmir News Bureau stated -“The agriculture sector is struggling and the Department is offering no vision for the struggling farmers while as the Director Altaf Andrabi is busy in spending the valuable resources of department towards spendthrift, lavish parties to please the new Agriculture Minister and before that commissioner secretary. The agriculture department is going nowhere in terms of progress and the Director is busy in extravagant approach.”



The Director Agriculture Altaf Andrabi has been in news for enquiries and dubious practises.
Sources also state that it should be probed that what is the source of this money under which these parties have been organized and under which criteria these lavish party’s have been organized.
Few months back the Director Altaf Andrabi had no base to travel to Spain in the name of saffron promotion, while as on ground the saffron sector is day by day getting weaker.
With decline in agriculture sector, struggling saffron this lavish party’s organized by Director Altaf Andrabi hold no base. (KNB)
