Srinagar, May 25 (KNB): For the residents of Batamaloo Srinagar bumpy rides have become a daily hassle for motorists and commuters due to poor condition of roads particularly from Bakka Masjid to Unani Hospital.

A local resident Ateeb Bashir talking to Kashmir News Bureau, said the Bakka Masjid to Haya Unani Hospital road near Ziyarat Sharief was not even macadamized after 2014 devastating floods but some patches were repaired to make it temporary for use for traffic. The residents of these areas face immense problems due to its dilapidated condition, adding, at some places, the road turns into a puddle during bad weather and remains full of dust during dry weather.
The locals appealed concerned MLA to ensure the macadamization as this bumpy road is giving the residents and commuters very tough time.
Despite repeated attempts the concerned MLA Noor Muhammad Sheikh could not be contacted. (KNB)
