SRINAGAR, JUNE 14: A delegation of J&K Editors Forum led by its Convenor, Zahoor Hashmi met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.
The delegation apprised Governor about various issues facing the Print media in the State; need for streamlining the policy for providing advertisement support to the empanelled newspapers, as per the Advertisement Policy 2006; and concerns about the release of Central advertisements having been stopped in respect of certain newspapers.
Governor assured the delegation that he would take up the raised issues with the Chief Minister.
