Body of youth who drowned in flood channel while saving dog located in Bemina

Reports said soon after the body was located, the police reached on spot, however cops were not allowed to send body for the postmortem.

Srinagar, July 05 (Only Kashmir): The body of the Teenager drowned in flood channel while rescuing a dog from drowning in Bemina area of Srinagar on Saturday was Thursday evening found after five days.



Reports reaching Onlykashmir[dot]in the boy, Asif Ahmad was washed away by flowing waters in the Bemina flood channel when he jumped into it to save a struggling dog who had fallen in it amidst heavy rains in parts of Valley. Ahmad was putting up in a makeshift tent along with his family at Tengpora.
Reports said soon after the body was located, the police reached on spot, however cops were not allowed to send body for the postmortem.
