Revolt against PDP and Mehbooba in full swing, one more dissents

Srinagar, Jul 06 (KNB): Amidst political sensations in Jammu and Kashmir State following the collapse of ‘unholy’ alliance the erstwhile Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is seeming landing deep in trouble with another senior member of the party and MLC Yasir Reshi publically expressing dissent.
Apart from already annoyed Dr. Haseeb Drabu who was sacked from state cabinet for his controversial remarks, senior party leaders Imran Raza Ansari, Abid Ansari, Abdul Rahim Rather, Muhammad Abbas in a surprising move targeted the PDP president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for her alleged family-oriented politics.



On Friday, PDP Leader and MLC Yasir Reshi announcing to join the rebel group issued a statement to media which states, “I’m in complete conformity with the views expressed by my esteemed colleagues to find alternative to the traditional two family systems.”
A political analyst talking to Kashmir News Bureau said “tomorrow rebel leaders of PDP supporting Sajad Lone to form the government along with BJP members can’t be ruled out,” adding, certainly there are high chances that the Jammu and Kashmir state will witness unexpected political development in near future.
Meanwhile after open rebuke from the party legislators, the PDP leadership in an aim to make efforts to reach out to the disgruntled party leaders has called for an important meeting. Highly placed sources told Kashmir News Bureau that senior leader of the party Advocate Muzzafar Hussain Ahmad Beigh is taking lead to address the party crises.

Omar Abdullah blamed PDP MLAs for playing opportunistic politics and said that how come they did not express that they were unhappy with the party before and expressing it now when the coalition government has disintegrated. (KNB)
