Abu Zehra Charitable Trust distributes cheques among needy children

They stressed upon parents to ensure education to their wards in any circumstances. They said today’s function was organized to provide a sort of aid in view of the Eid-ul-Azha.

Srinagar, Aug 11 (KNB): In a bid to promote education among needy and poor children, the Abu Zehra Charitable Trust Bota Kadal Srinagar on Saturday distributed 54 four cheques during an impressive function at Government High School Amda Kadal Srinagar.
Among others, the function was attended by Abu Zehra Charitable Trust Patron Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Ms. Yaseema Ji, Principal Government High School Amda Kadal, Riyaz Ahmad Bhat senior member of the trust, senior citizens of the area and parents.



The organizers while distributing the cheques stated that the aim of the Trust is to reach out to those areas that are highly affected by the poverty and lack the facilities for socio-economic upliftment.
They stressed upon parents to ensure education to their wards in any circumstances. They said today’s function was organized to provide a sort of aid in view of the Eid-ul-Azha.
They said our priorities where a large portion of the population who are living below the poverty line, adding, everyone should come forward to ensure the education of society’s poorer section. (KNB)
