Ashraf Malik posted Principal District & Sessions Judge

Srinagar, Feb 08 (Only Kashmir): Consequent upon the acceptance of the representations of Syed Tawqeer Ahmad (District Judge) and Muzaffar Iqbal Khan (Sub Judge) seeking voluntary retirement from the service, the following transfers /postings of Judicial officers were made by the orders of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir:-
According to order no. 1370, Dated 07-02-2019, of Hon’ble High Court of J&K, Mohammad Ashraf Malik has been posted as the Principal District and Session Judge, Anantnag in place of Syed Tawqeer Ahmad.
It is pertinent to mention that Malik prior to this posting has been on key positions, which include, Principal District and Sessions Judge Ganderbal, Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora, and President District Consumer Forum Srinagar.
Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag is transferred and attached to the Srinagar wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement from the service is accepted by the State Government.
Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Rajouri is transferred and attached to the Jammu wing of the High Court till such time the recommendation for his voluntary retirement from the service is accepted by the State Government.
