Srinagar Parliamentary Candidate demands Visa for Yasin Malik’s wife and daughter

Srinagar, April 28 (Only Kashmir): Notwithstanding the investigation in ‘Terror and Funding Cases’ by National Investigative Agency (NIA) and Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Srinagar Parliamentary Candidate Sajad Noorabadi has written a letter to Minster for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj appealing to adopt ‘humane approach’ towards the family members of incarcerated separatist leaders.
Sajad Noorabadi appealed Sushma to grant Visa to Pakistan based wife and minor daughter of JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik presently in Delhi for NIA investigation.
“Our country recognizes rights of every citizens and so on these lines, I being the citizen of union of India as well as social activist feel it honour to approach and appraise your august self that the appropriate steps and arrangements be made so that the bifurcated family is united and above all the family members of the Hurriyat leader who are presently in Pakistan are facilitated and accordingly permitted to have the visitation rights and to meet with the detainee and also a husband and father of the minor, the letter reads.
Pertinently, Malik is currently lodged in Tihar jail in New Delhi after being arrested by the NIA in a case related to “financing of terror and separatist organizations.”
Earlier on April 20 (Saturday), Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik fell sick and was shifted to a hospital, as per his family. His family members said that when they had gone to meet Mr. Malik in Delhi earlier, authorities told them that he was on a hunger strike.
