Some traders playing into the hands of the collaborators: Joint Leadership

Srinagar, Nov 14 (Only Kashmir): A day after a state minter termed the businessmen of Kashmir as ‘Jihadis’, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik asked all segments of society to refrain from providing any opportunity to insult the supreme sacrifices offered by the nation, adding, some traders and members of the business community in Kashmir are playing into the hands of the collaborators.

In a statement to Onlykashmir.in, the JRL expressed surprise and dismay that some traders and members of the business community played into the hands of the collaborators and gave them an opportunity to insult the supreme sacrifices offered by the nation. JRL asked all segments of society that as collective custodians of the sacrifices of the nation to be cautious and refrain from providing any opportunity to these collaborators to insult and mock us and to expect no help from them as has been proven time and again.
The statement comes after the senior PDP leader and state finance minister HaseebDrabu while speaking at the first business conclave held here said that businessmen in Kashmir are “the only ones doing ‘jihad’ as they are fighting against all odds.
Meanwhile addressing a gathering of local industrialists here on Monday, the Chief Minister Mehbooba said the State is proud of its business community which braved the hot and cold of last three decades or so and has been making their effort in employment generation and strengthening of local economy. She said not only the Government but the whole society stands with them as their issues are not the individual problems but those of the entire society.
On the occasion representatives of local industries including Mushtaq Chaya, Muhammad Ashraf Mir, Mushtaq Burza, Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Showket Choudhary and Iqbal Trumboo thanked the Chief Minister for making available industry benefits to tourism sector and other allied sectors in the State terming it historic.
