Students held protests in Rajouri against killings in Kashmir

Jammu, Mar 21 (Only Kashmir): Hundreds of students under the banner of All Jammu and Kashmir Students Union (AJKSU) Monday held protests outside Rajouri College against the recent civilian killings in Kashmir. The protesting students holding banners castigated state government for harassing student one and other pretext.

The protesting students expressed solidarity with the bereaved families who lost their loved once during the 2016 public uprising. They said students suffered the most during the recent unrest in the valley, adding, the hatred and harassment which Kashmiri students are facing outside the in many parts of the India, is unethical and against the norms of democracy.
“Every human being should discourage these things and should involve in creating the conducive atmosphere where everyone can express him/herself freely,” one of the protestors said.

Meanwhile agitating students over the blame of mass copying on the students of Government Polytechnic Kishtwar who were called by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education at Jammu for proving their innocence, held a strong protest demonstration against the Secretary Jammu Kashmir State Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) at JKSBOTE office Jammu.

Resuming the agitation, scores of students assembled in JKSBOTE office and raised the slogan against the Secretary. The protestors claimed” We have been called today from Kishtwar to Jammu for proving our innocence, our voice has been suppressed. Everyone knows that the road connecting the area is in a crippled state and we came through transship means and ever by foot after facing lot of hardships. So, today we have initiated the agitation against the department and its flames will be continued till decision comes in students favor and amendment in wrong policies”
