Uzair Ronga parted ways from JKPA, says will dissolve alliance soon

Srinagar, Mar 10 (Only Kashmir): The renowned socio-political activist Advocate Uzair Ahmad Ronga on Saturday announced distance from Jammu and Kashmir People Alliance (JKPA). JKPA is an alliance of several prominent personalities of Kashmir formed at aiming to address the issues faced by the youth of Valley on several fronts including the political one.
Pertinent to mention here that JKPA was registered as a Trust with Advocate Uzair Ronga, business tycoon Sheikh Imran Ahmad, Mushtaq Bashir a local businessman, Umar Rasool and Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganai as its trustees.



Speaking to Onlykashmir.in, Uzair Ronga said that “Due to the ideological differences with other trustees led me to tender the resignation. Under the ambit of the trust constitution, very soon I’m going to dissolve the trust as other two trustees have already approached me in this regard”.
Pertinently, JKPA time and again in past held several protests in Srinagar on different issues including against the NIA raids, Braid Chopping and traffic mess. The JKPA last year came into limelight after their hundreds of members joined the Pakistan Day function at Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi.(KNB)
