Srinagar, Sep 12 (Only Kashmir): The Jammu and Kashmir’s one of the leading news portal Onlykashmir.in which was hacked by some two months back has been blocked on social networking giant Facebook yet again for the fourth time. However, this time not only the official Facebook page of Onlykashmir.in but also the administrators of the page have been blocked to post any content on Facebook for three days.
Pertinently, in 2015 the Facebook page of the same portal containing millions of followers was barred in India following which a fresh page of Only Kashmir was again blocked with 50k followers. Most recently the website Onlykashmir.in was hacked with all the content was drained down.
Confirming the Facebook blockage Senior Editor of the News portal Bilal Bashir Bhat, said, since the existence of Onlykashmir.in it has been under multiple cyber attacks from some malicious and vicious forces just to suppress the genuine voice of the people. He said we are still under process to retrieve the nine years old content including, news stories, articles, opinion columns and videos which was wiped off from the portal’s database recently when the website was hacked.
“This time not only the page but all the administrators of the page have been blocked to post any content even on their personal profiles. Despite all this, the Onlykashmir.in will remain like a rock to shape the opinion of the people based on facts, relates and a positive vision,” Bilal added.
