PDP resorting to genocide of merit: NC Presser

Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNB): Addressing a jam-packed press conference the opposition National Conference alleged that ruling party PDP is resorting to genocide of merit. Party Spokesperson Junaid Mattu and Tanvir Sadiq alleged huge nepotism and corrupt practices in different departments.
Referring to the latest KVIB fiasco the duo called the entire process marred by corruption and favourtism stating first a private agency was hired for conducting examination then weirdly 1: 15 ratio maintained.
They also alleged huge corruption in the WAKF Board stating that influential person’s having affiliation with PDP have been made Shrine administrators and controllers , the posts which were non existent earlier.



The NC also alleged huge corruption approach in the Social Welfare ministry and Child Development Scheme stating kiths and kind of PDP leaders have been recruited in recent times.
They also traded allegations of severe corrupt practices prevalent in the State Sports Council stating from football Association to sending PDP workers to NIS and execution of Khelo India programmes to dubious grant of Ra six million to DPS all was marred by the corruption.
The entire recruitment of JK bank in recent times is without any proper process and just JK bank has been turned into rehabilitation centre for PDP workers by fraud appointments .
While replying to the Kashmir News Bureau Question that should probe be held on all previous cases of merit being dumped by corruption , Junaid stated -“We are open to every probe without time frame, when Mehbooba Mufti was opposition leader she believed in negative politics and we also call upon CM not to deviate attention from the current burning issues.” (KNB)
