Srinagar, Feb 26 (Only Kashmir): Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman J&K Salvation Movement, Zaffar Akbar Bhat Monday expressed his serious concern over the increasing civilian killings in Syria and in his appeal to warring groups called for immediate ceasefire to stop bloodshed.
Zaffar Akbar in his statement expressed his deep grief that even innocent children are facing death and destruction from Russian led Bashar al-Assad forces. Appealing United Muslim forces led by Pakistan to intervene and save precious lives, Zaffar stressed Iran and Saudi Arabia to stop region from going astray.
We feel Pakistan can play a pivotal role as forces led by Bashar Assad are committing serious war crimes, said Zaffar.
