Jammu, Mar 16 (Only Kashmir): Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Friday threw open the newly developed Maharaja Hari Singh Park on Tawi banks in Jammu, besides unveiling the statue of latter inside the park.
Spread over 43 kanals of land, the park has been developed at a cost of Rs. 4.72 crore and the main features of the project comprise aesthetically laid walking tracks, children swings, ornamental sheds, benches, dustbins, open air gym besides beautifully laid flower and rose gardens.
The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh inside the park. She also inaugurated the Coffee House and a refurbished library within the park premises.
Earlier on her arrival at the venue, the Chief Minister was received by the Deputy Chief Minister who apprised her about various facets of this project. (OK)
