ARTO Kupwara conducts Road safety awareness

Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNB): An awareness programme on road safety awareness and norms was organized on Monday at New Bus Stand Regipora, Kupwara by motor Vehicles Department in collaboration with Medical Department Kashmir. ARTO Kupwara was chief guest on the occasion.
The speakers on the occasion briefed audience about the traffic rules one needs to follow while driving. They informed the audience about the standard operating procedures that require to be followed while driving or moving on the roads, besides stressing upon the norms people need to follow while driving.



The camp discussed the various traffic signs to the audience and elaborated that traffic signs can be divided into three categories—mandatory road signs, warning road signs and information signs. The ARTO Kupwara on the occasion stressed to organize more such programmes requiring promotion of awareness among people. (KNB)
