Srinagar, April 26 (KNB): A number of students from Kashmir University’s Law Department have ruled out the ‘Love Triangle’ aspect in gang war type scuffle that broke in the law Department earlier this morning.
Pertinently, the incident in which three students were injured created shock waves across Kashmir signaling downside in our youth values, the sources confirmed the Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) that some other issues rather than love triangle was behind the scuffle.
Early some sources had hinted that love triangle could be behind this, but as per latest student and university sources there were some other issues behind this scuffle not the love triangle theory propounded by the earlier sources.
“We are sure there was no involvement of love or romance angle behind this university student scuffle but some other simmering issues between students which lead to this ugly situation,” stated a university source, while talking to the KNB.
Police sources have also stated some other things behind scuffle and ruled out love triangle, however, denied reports of arresting any student.
Pertinently, at least three students of Kashmir University’s Law Department were injured on Thursday during a scuffle between the students of the department where among them one student namely Aqib Muzzafar went through a surgery.
Sources told Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) that during a scuffle Kashmir University’s Law Department 6th and 8th-semester students this morning resulted in injuries to at least 3 students of the department. During the scuffle at least 10 female students were fainted and were referred for first aid treatment.
When KNB contacted the University officials they said a high-level committee has been constituted to ascertain the cause of the incident, adding, it will submit its report within 2 days with specific recommendations for further action in the matter.
Demanding the safety of students, Umair Ronga, one of the senior students of Law Department talking to KNB said that such incidents are sheer condemnable and disturbing the class work of, adding, such incidents give a reason to the police and forces to enter in the varsity. (KNB)
