Srinagar, April 27 (KNB): Amid the public uproar and debates over the recent brutal Kathua rape and murder incident, yet another horrifying incident from north Kashmir Baramulla district has came into light where a girl 17 yrs girl has alleged sexual assault by her teacher.
As per the sources Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) received here, the family of a class 11th student of Keeri area of Pattan, Baramulla lodged an FIR following they were informed by doctors that their girl was brought to the hospital by one Sheraz Ahmad Zargar for abortion.
The girl alleged that her teacher Sheraz Ahmad Zargar raped and impregnated her and took to the hospital for an abortion where doctors informed her family and police.
Acting instantly over the reports, police registered the case under FIR NO 22/2018 U/S 376,315/RPC and also arrested the accused.
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), Mir Imtiyaz Hussain, SSP, Baramulla said Charge sheet in this regard will be produced before Court in due course of time, adding, accused is behind bars and is on remand by competent Court. (KNB)
