Abdul Haq Khan all set to quit PDP: Sources

Srinagar, May 01 (KNB): Senior ruling party leader People Democratic Party (PDP) and MLA Lolab is slated to quit the party following he was dropped from cabinet on Monday.
With yesterday cabinet reshuffle wherein eight new ministers were administered oath, the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti also PDP president dropped Rural Development and Law Minister Abdul Haq Khan. Khan represents the Lolab assembly segment in the state assembly. Now as per the latest reports, he is slated to quit the Peoples Democratic Party.



A political source, while talking to the Kashmir News Bureau stated – “ After being left out of the cabinet and not given any ministry it is learnt that Haq Khan is about to quit the PDP as he is angry with the decision of leaving him out of the ministry. The coming days will reveal his future course of action but his distance with PDP has grown and is likely to mature in his quitting the party.”
