Srinagar, May 11 (KNB): The students of Higher classes in the Mallinson and Biscoe schools are stating that they in the third week of May have been asked to appear for term and Unit test simultaneously with syllabus much heavy in this regard.
Despite most of the days since the start of the academic calendar this year witnessing frequent strikes and upheavals the students say they are facing an uphill and daunting task.
A class 10th student, while pleading anonymity stated – “The Mallinson and Biscoe schools are among the premier academic institutes of Kashmir, but the pressure being put on we the students shows they least care about our mental health and are asking us to prepare for exams of 70 percent syllabus. Off their own shortcomings and also the very few days had due to turmoil situation they are putting debris on us.”
Within this short span of time, asking students to prepare for exams that too of term and with heavy syllabus is really weird, according to voices of sanity.
Student community in both schools is hopeful that administration of both the schools reviews the decision and softens the overall syllabus mode they have to prepare for examinations. (KNB)
