Deputations from Wachi met MLA Aijaz Mir

Shopian, May 26: Various deputations from the Wachi constituency today met Member Legislative Assembly Aijaz Ahmad Mir here today at Mini Secretariat Arhama Shopian in presence of District Development Commissioner Gazanfar Ali and SSP Shopian. .
Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineer PHE, Assistant Director FCS&CA and other concerned officers and officials of the district were also present on the occasion.



The deputations put forth various demands regarding power supply, drinking water, macadamization and repair of roads, education, and irrigation sector before the MLA.
On the occasion, Mir gave the deputations a patient hearing and assured redressal of their genuine issues in a time-bound manner. He also sought the cooperation of people in the better public delivery system.
The legislator directed officers to gear up and ensure that the difficulties of the people are addressed and resolved at the earliest. He also directed the concerned authorities to ensure availability of all essential commodities and services in the constituency during the holy month of Ramadan.
