JRL to hold deliberations on Rajnath’s dialogue offer on Tuesday

The sources said before announcing the final decision regarding the dialogue offer the JRL will also consult people from different shades of opinions.

Srinagar, May 27 (Only Kashmir): The Joint Resistance Leaders hip (JRL) of Kashmir comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik will held deliberations on Tuesday during an extraordinary meeting over the talks offered by Home Minister of India Rajnath Singh a day before.
Pertinently, on Saturday Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India is ready to talk to the Hurriyat Conference if they are ready to talk, a media report said today. “If Hurriyat is ready to talk, we have no problem, we are ready to talk to anyone. Even if Pakistan comes for a dialogue, we are ready for it,” Singh told Aaj Tak TV channel during a programme held in New Delhi to mark four years of the Narendra Modi government.



According to the reliable sources Onlykashmir[dot] in received here, the meeting to discuss the Rajnath’s dialogue offer was scheduled today on the sidelines of a seminar “Nazool-e- Quran” at his Geelani’s Hyderpora residence, however, due to the very busy schedule of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq he couldn’t make to it. The extraordinary meeting has been scheduled on Tuesday 29 May 2018 at Geelani’s Hyderpora residence.
The sources said before announcing the final decision regarding the dialogue offer the JRL will also consult people from different shades of opinions.
Earlier, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti welcoming the Rajnath Singh’s remark on dialogue in J&K hoped that Hurriyat Conference will seize the opportunity and show their responsibility towards the people of the State by displaying the much needed maturity so that the opportunity is not wasted. She said a peaceful engagement among all the stakeholders in the State is urgently needed to get Jammu & Kashmir out of the unending cycle of violence and provide its people, a secure, prosperous and peaceful future.
