Mirpur, June 03 (Only Kashmir): At least fourteen people including a woman and a baby lost their lives as a passenger van fell into a ravine in Pakistan Administrated Kashmir’s Mirpur on Sunday.
The vehicle fell in Pir Gali area, killing 14, rescue sources said. Women and children were reported to be among the dead. The injured were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital.
The reports said that the van ferrying the passengers was on way to Mirpur coming from Samahni however, the driver lost the control and fell into 250 feet deep ravine.
On June 1, at least seven people were killed and 30 injured during a traffic accident in the Safdarabad area of Nankana Sahib.
Earlier, more than 25 tourists were swept away and at least 12 of them were declared dead after a bridge collapsed in Neelam valley of Azad Kashmir. (OK)
