02 die, 05 injured as vehicle plunges into Gorge at Sinthan Top

Srinagar, Jun 20 (Only Kashmir): Two persons died while five others were injured after their vehicle fell in a deep gorge at Sinthan Top, Kokernag.
A Wagno-R vehicle bearing registration number JK03F /7505 with seven people aboard fell in a deep gorge at Sinthan Top in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag.



In the incident, two persons identified as Nissar Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Ahad resident of Hillar Kokernag and Rifat Maqbool daughter of Mohd Maqbool Sheikh resident of Peertaki Kokernag died while five other persons identified as Shahid Ahmad Malik son of Nazir Ahmad, Nargis Jan daughter of Mohd Amin Kumar, both residents of Hillar Kokernag, Bisma Jan daughter of Abdul Majeed, Zahoor Ahmad Rather son of Gh Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad Parrey son of Abdul Rehman, residents of Peertaki were injured. All the injured persons were shifted to hospital by police for treatment.
In this regard, a case has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
