JRL Protests against Civilian Killings in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 09 (KNB): The Joint Resistance Leadership on Monday registered a peaceful protest against civilian killings in Kulgam at the hands of government forces including a class 8th school going student Andleeb aged about 13 years.
The protest was led by leaders of both factions of Hurriyat Conference and JKLF, which include PPP Chief Engineer Hilal Ahmad War , JKLF Vice Chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Muslim Democratic League Chairman Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, AAC leaders Ghulam Nabi Zaki and Sufi Mushtaq Ahmad, PPF leader Abdul Majeed, Muslim Conference leader, Abdul Rasheed Untoo, Omar Adil , Sheikh Abdul Rasheed, Bashir Kashmiri, Bashir Andrabi and other prominent activists like Imtiyaz Haider, Mohammad Shafi Dar, Omar Paul , Arif Khan , Engineer Hafeez ur Rehman and other volunteers of resistance movement.



Pertinently, three civilians which include a young girl student Andleeb (16) daughter of Ali Muhammad Alie along with two other civilians including Irshad Ahmad Lone (20) S/O Abdul Majeed Lone and Shakir Ahmad Khanday (22) S/O Muhammad Hussain Khanday were killed during clashes by government forces in Kulgam district of South Kashmir a day before the 2nd anniversary of Hizb Commander Buran Wani.
