Srinagar, Jul 23 (Only Kashmir): Delhi Public School Srinagar has been awarded the Best Education Institute under CBSE Category in the North School Merit Award survey conducted by EducationToday.Co. The school survey is conducted by Education Today magazine, leading educational magazine of India.
Out of 835 Survey forms only a few handpicked Schools & Preschools were nominated for the awards. 200 schools & 50 preschools were shortlisted in various categories. The survey included schools in the state of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir & Uttarakhand. The North School Merit Award is based on Jury Ranking, Parents Vote & Survey Analysis done by Education Today team.
Speaking on the recognition, the school principal, Alistair R A Freese said, “It is an extremely proud moment for all of us at DPS to be recognised as The Top Most School in North India. It is recognition of our tireless striving to give our children the best of education through a dedicated faculty that works tirelessly.” He reiterated that the recognition is in no less measure due to the efforts of the Chairman Mr Vijay Dhar – a visionary “who has always prioritized maximizing opportunities for the school and its students.” The Chairman, on his part, congratulated the Principal, staff and students for this accomplishment, and said “It proves the school’s commitment to revolutionize the educational scenario through a breadth of vision and policy.”
The school will be formally awarded and felicitated in North Educator`s Summit in September, 2018. Besides, the results of school ranking survey will also be published in August issue of Education Today magazine.
