Srinagar, July 27 (KNB): Dineshwar Sharma, Union Government’s Special Representative for Dialogue in J&K, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Sharma briefed Governor about the programme of his current visit to the Valley, to be followed by visits to Kargil and Padum.
Governor discussed with Sharma the issues facing the Governor’s Administration and the steps required to regain the trust of Youth.
It is important to know, the top separatist leaders, civil society members and traders in Kashmir so far have refused to meet the interlocutor during his previous visits to the State.
Dineswar was appointed as interlocutor by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on October 23 this year for holding sustained dialogue with stakeholders in J&K. (KNB)
