Srinagar, Sep 17 (Only Kashmir): In view of the Youm-e-Asoura being observed on 21 September, the Srinagar police on Monday organized a PCPG meeting at Sheeshgari Mohalla Khanyar which was chaired by SDPO Khanyar.
Respectable citizens of Shia and Sunni communities attended the meeting. During the meeting many issues related to Muharram processions and availability of basic commodities were discussed.
The chairing officer assured the participants that their issues will be redressed in short spam of time. Besides, the route plan for Muharram processions was also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the participants thanked police for conducted such meetings & hoped that such meetings will be held in future also.
