Srinagar, Dec 31 (Only Kashmir): Jammu & Kashmir Development Foundation (JKDF) Monday organized an event in Central Kashmir where its Founder & Chairman Bilal Parray distributed cheques to the youth under various schemes of skill and education provided by the Ministry of Minorities.
The agenda of the event was to pass on the benefits of various schemes from the government to the youth of the Valley and to emphasize the need for education and skill development of the youth.
Besides, Bilal Parray, the event was participated by Javed Ahmad Tantray (General Secretary JKDF) Shakeel Ahmad Malla (Secretary JKDF), Master Ali Mohammad (Chairman Sind Valley Educational Institute) and other dignitaries.
During the event, Bilal Parray stressed the educational and skill developments of the youth. The chairman JKDF believes that a well educated and skilled youth can better progress themselves for their successful career.
He also emphasized the importance of eradicating the evils which have found roots in our Valley, like drug addiction, drinking, inequality towards minorities and women etc.
Talking about the drug menace, Bilal said prevention is one of the ways in which drug abuse can be dealt with, adding, It is important that the youth are made to feel that drug use itself is harmful in every conceivable way and only then will they stop using them and prevent others in their peer group from doing the same.
