On Shujaat Bukhari’s first anniversary, ‘Kashmir’s Thin Red Lines’ released

The book ‘Kashmir’s Thin Red Lines’ based on the articles of late Dr Syed Shujaat Bukhari is composed by her better half Dr Tahmeena Bukhari.

Srinagar, June 14 (Only Kashmir): On the first death anniversary of senior journalist, Dr Syed Shujaat Bukhari, a book titled ‘Kashmir’s Thin Red Lines’ was on Friday released at an impressive function at Tagore Hall here in which a galaxy of journalists and people from different shades and walks of life were present.
The book ‘Kashmir’s Thin Red Lines’ based on the articles of late Dr Syed Shujaat Bukhari is composed by her better half Dr Tahmeena Bukhari.
The Wire’s founding editor Sidharth Varadarajan was the chief Guest while as an Author and senior journalist Saeed Naqvi was the Guest of Honor on the occasion. Ajaz ul Haq on the occasion presented the review of book.
Pertinently, renowned journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Rising Kashmir Shujaat Bukhari was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Srinagar’s Press Colony on June 14, 2019, a day before Eid-ul-Fitr.
Besides others, Shujaat Bukhari’s son and father also spoke on the occasion. The proceedings of the programme were done by Muhammad Amin Bhat.
