B.Ed, NET examination clash: IASE Principal says can’t reschedule datasheet for few students

The 4th semester B.Ed students of IASE had requested the management to reschedule their date of examination which clash with the date of the exams by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Srinagar, Jun 25 (Only Kashmir): Sticking to its decision, the Principal of Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) Srinagar Dr. Seema Naz has turned down the request of students demanding the reschedule of their examinations dates coinciding with the exam dates of National Eligibility Test (NET).
Pertinently, the 4th semester B.Ed students of IASE had requested the management to reschedule their date of examination which clash with the date of the exams by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Talking to Onlykashmir[dot]in, Dr. Seema Naz said that for a few particular students the announced date can’t be rescheduled which will amount injustice with other students. She said that almost 400 students are proposed to appear in examinations and for mere 2-3 students the date sheet can’t be rescheduled.
She maintained that on humanitarian basis, I even, asked students to come along with roll number slips who pitch for rescheduling, “to my surprise none of the students was seen in my office except one,” said Seema, and added that the students appearing B.Ed examination hail from different parts of the state and have already to vacate rented places in Srinagar.
Pertinent to mention here, the B.Ed examinations are scheduled on June 26 which clash with the NET exam scheduled on the same date. The NET exams commenced on June 20 and will culminate on June 28.
Meanwhile, a group of students talking to Onlykashmir[dot]in requested the Governor to intervene in the matter and instruct the VC to reschedule the date of examination.
