Aspirants appeal NTA to setup examination centre in Kashmir for IGNOU posts

Srinagar, Dec 10 (Only Kashmir): The aspirants from Kashmir Valley have appealed to the administration of National Testing Agency (NTA) to set up examination centre in Kashmir to conduct examinations for non academic posts recently advertised by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

Pertinently, the IGNOU has recently advertised posts for non academic positions. The exam is going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the date of the exam has been scheduled for 24th January, 2021.

A group of aspirants talking to Onlykashmir[dot]in said “that surprisingly no centre for aspirants of Kashmir has been allocated. We are supposed to travel to Jammu division and during winters the road and air travel mostly remains barred,” adding, it will be difficult for the aspirants to travel to Jammu to appear in exams.

Besides, National Testing Agency (NTA), the aspirants also appeal to the Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor administration to intervene into the matter, so as the risk of missing the examination of the aspirants from Kashmir valley is covered.
