Srinagar, 21 Feb (Only Kashmir): Born in a business family in Srinagar Ambreen Nawaz is a woman entrepreneur with a difference who believes in taking the business activity quite traditionally, she had done Post-Graduation in political Science and subsequently pursuing Masters in Social Work. Talking with Onlykashmir[dot]in, Ambreenstated “My Venture is named as THE GRAND ATTIRE” (E-Store for women)having its registered office at Lal Bazar Srinagar. We provide all leading brands of attire for women and mostly for brides suitable as per our culture. We also customize and promote Kashmiri Tilla Embroidery dresses and accessories for women suitable for different occasions.
On the issue of challenges as women she faces, Ambreen states “Well, nothing is easy or difficult when it comes to working. It solely depends upon your will, determination, hard work, and lastly how you handle things. In a place like Kashmir, women entrepreneurship is a newly chosen profession which will take little more time to flourish in line with social norms.”
Ambreen Nawaz on her future ambitions and ideas states that “My ambitions are associated with my venture. Inshallah, I am working over to get my venture online completely by switching to the website and creating an app that would be available on the play store. Currently, our online portal is available on Instagram and Facebook (@GrandAttire by Ambreen) as people mostly use these two social media platforms.
In her message to the young entrepreneurs, Ambreen states “see, everyone knows Kashmiri people have high potential talent almost in every field. However, what is lacking is a proper platform and guidance. So if people are using their capabilities by copying an idea, it doesn’t matter. At last, they are using their own potential, determination, and will towards a positive direction. Everyone’s sustenance in this world has already been decided even before one is born but one has got to move a little too.”
