Alleging that the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Jammu and Kashmir is under threat due to the repeated denial of security cover by the Lieutenant Governor administration, Dr. Nawab Nasir said that ignorance on security grounds is not less than a blunder due to which life of party leaders is on stake.
Addressing a presser at Rajbagh Party Hqtrs, Aam Aadmi Party state spokesperson and chairman of the media coordination committee, Dr. Nawab Nasir Aman said AAP is a leading political party in Jammu and Kashmir also and is the only political party that takes on BJP for its failure and every leader of the party exposes anti-people policies of BJP
He said Aadmi Party leaders made multiple requests to provide adequate security to its leaders, but it seems it always falls on deaf ears.
Dr. Nawab further said that AAP cadre is present in every district, block and village of Jammu and Kashmir and the joining of common masses of Jammu and Kashmir in party is going on at a large scale due to which party cadre is growing with each passing day.
He said the favorite political leaders of other political parties even small workers are having security and PSOs which exhibits that government is hell-bent to expose Aam Aadmi Party cadre to those forces which are against political activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Nawab further asked Jammu and Kashmir LG administration to shun this step-motherly treatment with Aam Aadmi Party cadre and to provide equal opportunities to all on political grounds.
