Srinagar , August 28 : J&K youth empowerment society (YES) has extended support to District Baramulla Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee (DGPC) Baramulla’s call for peaceful protest in support of the missing Er Gurmeet Singh .
Team YES Appealed to the people from different walks of life, especially youth join the peaceful protest call given by DGPC Bla for the missing Gurmeet Singh,”.
The members unanimously urged upon the administration,especially police to expedite its investigation and call FSL team to look into the intricacies of the case.
They demanded that proper Call Detail Record of the mobile number besides GPS tracking of the mobile phone of the missing engineer should be provided to the community members, as it is assumed from the circumstances that some conspiracy is being hatched.
The members also impressed upon Lieutenant Governor to show some sensitivity towards minorities, as missing of a member of Sikh community is not normal in such mysterious circumstances. So all government machinery should be engaged to find out the missing person.
Meanwhile, in connection with the mysterious disappearance of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Gurmeet Singh of the Roads and Buildings Department (R&B), Baramulla, on the evening of 25th August 2023, the Baramulla Police has taken significant step to ensure a thorough investigation into the matter by constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DSP Hqrs Baramulla. The team comprises seasoned officers to uncover the truth behind this incident.
