The culminating ceremony of Audit Diwas by AG Office Srinagar, held today at SKICC, marked a splendid conclusion to a week-long celebration from November 19 to 25.
PAG, Pramod Kumar and DAG Inabat Kahliq, joined by dignitaries including Nazir Ahmad Ganie, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K, Dr. Masood Tanveer, Principal Government Medical College Srinagar, and Javid Bakshi, MD SKICC Srinagar, illuminated the lamp in a symbolic gesture.
Audit Diwas and its festivities served as a tribute to the vital role played by CAG and AG Office. The week unfolded with diverse activities, ranging from an Audit Marathon cum Cleanliness Drive to a lively cultural evening. Events such as blood donation drives, Rangoli and painting competitions, and sports competitions including cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and chess were conducted.
The academic community also participated in quiz and inter-debate university/college competitions at SKUAST-K.
This celebration not only brought awareness about the workings of AG Office Srinagar but also garnered significant attention with the honorable LG Manoj Sinha gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest at AG Jammu office.
The convergence of cultural, sports, and academic activities exemplified the dynamic engagement and the multifaceted contributions of AG Office Srinagar during Audit Diwas.
Pertinently the Principal Accountant General (PAG) office in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir marked the ongoing Audit Diwas celebrations with a vibrant painting competition, held here.
The event brought together 33 participants across various age groups, showcasing the artistic talents of the region. Besides, quiz competition was also conducted in the Recreation Hall, in which 11 teams participated.
These events were graced by key figures, including Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh, SAO A&E; Peerzada Nazir Ahmad, SAO A&E and Abdul Ganaie Hajam, SAO Audit, Admn.
These competitions not only celebrated artistic talent but also added an intellectual dimension to the festivities of Audit Diwas, exemplifying the diverse engagement within this celebratory week.
