SRINAGAR, JUNE 24: Burhan Hussain, Cultural Officer Kashmir, delivered an insightful talk at the NCC Camp, JAK LI Regimental Centre Campus in Rangreth, emphasizing infrastructure and social development initiatives by the UT Administration.

Addressing 250 NCC Cadets and 20 staff members, Hussain showcased significant projects like the Chenab Bridge, the Qazigund-Banihal Tunnel, and the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project. He highlighted the completion of 92,560 projects in 2022-23, double the number from previous years, and initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission and major flood protection projects.

Hussain also discussed improvements in energy infrastructure with a target of 3050MW additional capacity by 2025-26. In the social sector, he emphasized inclusive growth through education, healthcare, and youth skill development under the ‘Mission Youth-My J&K’ program.

The event, part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ camp, aimed to foster national unity and development awareness among the youth, making cadets ambassadors of the region’s progress when they return to their home states.
