Teaching Staff Directed to Prepare for Board Exams from February 10, 2025
Srinagar, Dec 6: The School Education Department has announced winter vacations for schools in Kashmir division and its winter zones, starting in a phased manner from December 10 and December 16, 2023.
According to an official order issued by Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar Gupta, the schedule is as follows:
Classes up to 5th standard: Vacations from December 10 to February 28, 2024.
Classes 6th to 12th standard: Vacations from December 16 to February 28, 2024.
Preparatory Measures for Board Exams
Teaching staff of Government High and Higher Secondary Schools are required to report to their respective headquarters from February 10, 2024, to make preparatory arrangements for board exams of classes 10th, 11th, and 12th.
Guidelines for Teachers
Teachers must remain available to provide online guidance to students during the vacation period.
Non-compliance by heads of institutions or teaching staff will result in strict action as per rules.
