Principal Secretary Culture Suresh Gupta highlighted department initiatives, including restoration of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, digitization of archival records (fully complete in Jammu, 50% in Srinagar), and relocation of six lakh records to a new ₹7.2 crore facility near Kala Kendra.

The review covered key projects like the modernization of the SRS Library under the Smart City Project, restoration of 16 heritage sites, and operationalization of a new archival repository. The Tehzeeb Mahal presentation showcased its architectural design and cultural significance, reaffirming the government’s commitment to heritage preservation.
