JAMMU, DECEMBER 20: Satish Sharma, Minister for Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Youth Services and Sports, Transport, Science and Technology, Information Technology, ARI and Trainings, assumed charge as President of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides in the presence of National Commissioner Cdr M.M Joshi.
The occasion was graced by Chief State Commissioner R.S Tara, Former State Commissioner I.D Soni, and State Training Commissioner R.P Kotwal. The J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides welcomed Sharma as the new president and briefed him on the organisation’s ongoing activities in the region.
It was highlighted that J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides secured 2nd position in the national ranking and received a ₹50,000 cash award from its Chief Patron, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in recognition of its achievements.
