Srinagar, Dec 30: Amitava Chatterjee has taken over as J&K Bank’s new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Baldev Prakash, whose three-year term concluded today.
Chatterjee, a seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience at SBI, expressed gratitude and enthusiasm, emphasizing his commitment to sustaining the bank’s legacy of trust and excellence. Previously, he served as MD of SBI Caps.
Outgoing MD & CEO Baldev Prakash, credited with leading significant transformations since 2021, expressed confidence in Chatterjee’s leadership and thanked stakeholders for their support during his tenure.
The Bank’s team extended gratitude to Prakash and welcomed Chatterjee, reaffirming their commitment to driving financial empowerment and growth under the new leadership.
