Anantnag Man chopped the body of his wife into pieces

Anantnag: In a shocking incident, police in Aishmuqam, Anantnag, have arrested a man from Halmulla Hapatnad for the brutal murder of his wife. The accused, Imran Ahmad Khan, son of Mouz Ud Din Khan, confessed to the crime, which took place on October 4, 2024.

According to police reports, Khan killed his second wife and initially buried her body in a cowshed. Two days later, he filed a missing person’s report, attempting to mislead authorities. However, ten days after lodging the report, he then separated the bones and flesh, burned the remains, and buried them underground.

Khan was living with his first wife at the time of the murder. He is currently in police custody at Aishmuqam Police Station as the investigation continues. The local SHO, along with a magistrate and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, is actively involved in the investigation.
