Srinagar, Jan 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has restructured the board of directors for the Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB). In the latest order, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary has been appointed as the new chairman, replacing Dr. Hina Bhat, a senior BJP leader.
An order 103 of JK (GAD) of 2025, a copy of which lies with Onlykashmir.in, reads: “In supersession of all previous orders issued on the subject, Board of Directors of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board is reconstituted.”
The reconstituted board includes top officials from various departments, such as Finance, Rural Development, Industries and Commerce, and Cooperative Societies, along with directors from the MSME and Rural Livelihood Mission.
