Srinagar, Jan 27: Students from the University of Kashmir’s (KU) Design Your Degree (DYD) program recently attended a week-long Design Thinking Boot Camp at Delhi University’s Cluster Innovation Centre.
The camp, part of the Design Innovation Centre initiative, focused on problem-solving through structured frameworks like stakeholder mapping, ideation, and pitching innovative solutions.
Accompanied by program coordinator Prof. Syeda Afshana, the students gained hands-on experience and developed practical solutions, including all-terrain transportation models. The event concluded with elevator-pitch presentations to investors.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan lauded the students, stating such programs align with NEP 2020 and prepare students for real-world challenges. Prof. Tariq Banday, Director of IOT Zakura Campus, emphasized the importance of hands-on learning in transforming knowledge into skills.
