Srinagar, Feb 05: DG Youth Services & Sports (YSS) J&K, Rajinder Singh Tara, toured Anantnag, Ganderbal, and Srinagar to assess ongoing sports infrastructure projects.
In Anantnag, he reviewed the District YSS Office building and directed officials to ensure timely completion. He also inspected the proposed hostel site in Jablipora, urging expedited land transfer.
In Khimber, he assessed an open playfield project nearing completion, while in Ganderbal, he reviewed the Synthetic Athletic Track and Football Field, both 90% complete.
He inspected multiple projects at Srinagar’s Wazir Bagh Sports Complex, stressing timely completion to benefit athletes.
Accompanied by senior officials, Tara expressed satisfaction with the progress and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to modern sports infrastructure in J&K.
